Courtney E. Pilchman
Courtney E. Pilchman is a founding partner of Pilchman & Kay, PLC.  Ms. Pilchman began her legal career as a deputy district attorney where she started out as a misdemeanor prosecutor.  Not long after arriving in the DA's office, she moved up to felony prosecution and was on the fast-track to prosecuting some of the more high profile cases.  During her career as a prosecutor, Ms. Pilchman was assigned to the Sexual Assault Unit, Domestic Violence Unit and Physical and Sexual Abuse of Children Unit.  She handled everything from misdemeanor battery to rape and murder.

After leaving the DA's office, Ms. Pilchman founded Pilchman & Kay, PLC to fill the gap in a field where clients were being overlooked and ignored by their attorneys. She understands the fear and apprehension clients experience and always makes sure their questions are answered and understanding of their case is solid.  Ms. Pilchman is highly regarded as an attorney who will research and write her own motions, motions that have won dismissals for her clients.   She studies the law and keeps current with the most recent legislative changes and case precedent.   Currently, Ms. Pilchman handles all criminal law matters with a special emphasis on cases where professional licenses are at stake.

Ms. Pilchman graduated with a B.A. degree from the University of Southern California and a J.D. from Chapman University School of Law.  She furthered her legal education by graduating from George Washington Law School with a LL.M degree in Litigation and Dispute Resolution.  Ms. Pilchman has taught legal courses on the college level and volunteers with high school moot court competitions.

Ms. Pilchman is active in many legal organizations and is licensed to practice in all state and federal courts in California.
