Anita A. Kay
Anita A. Kay is a founding partner of Pilchman & Kay, PLC. Ms. Kay has spent the majority of her legal career handling criminal law cases. She was a former deputy district attorney where she handled a variety of cases ranging from carjacks, thefts, manslaughter, sexual abuse and child abuse cases. Before entering the district attorney's office, Ms. Kay worked as a civil attorney representing police officers in civil liability cases.
As a defense attorney, Ms. Kay has built a reputation as a thorough, tough and accomplished litigator, unafraid of any challenges presented in court. Ms. Kay also clerked in the State's Attorney's Office in Chicago, Illinois and Santa Clara District Attorney's Office where she gained valuable experience in law and motion writing.
Ms. Kay belongs to many legal organizations and is licensed to practice in all California state and federal courts.
